Horny Hump Day - March 7, 2012

Welcome to my HHD post for March 7, 2012.  My selection this week is from my short story Glass Floor Benefits, published on Every Night Erotica way back in June 2010!!  This is the story of Helen Coats, an up-and-coming account executive, and her seduction of the office rookie, who turns the tables (or desk!) on her and develops something special between them!  At this point of the tales, Sam has hidden himself under Helen's desk, and surprised her with his naughty intentions!

*   *   *   *   *   *

She lay back in the chair, riding her ass forward on the seat, and he pulled her closer to him, rubbing the inside of her thighs with his warm, soft palms, stroking her up to the edge of her panties.  She moaned quietly as he ran a finger across the damp cotton covering her hot, wet pussy.  Then he slipped his hands up the inside of her skirt and slowly pulled her panties down, dropping them on the floor next to her discarded shoes.

This is SO much fun. I hope you are enjoying these little snippets as much as I am - delecting a few choice sentences for your delectation!  Don't forget to check out the rest of the snippets at the Horny Hump Day website, and let's have fun!

Horny Hump Day - February 29, 2012

On this, the last Horny Hump Day of February, I offer three sweet sentences from one of my current WIP's. This tale is tentatively titled "Demon Heat", although, as an extract from a much larger series of fantasy novels I am working on, the final title of this *Chapter* will probably be something very different.

Background:

The Queen of Kodaw is reputed to be a powerful witch, who has kept her throne through some mysterious - maybe evil - force. A group of southern tribesmen have infiltrated her perilous Keep, and their leader - someone else of mysterious origin - has been captured alone in the Queen's boudoir, and, disarmed, stripped naked, and chained to the wall, awaits his fate - or the Queen's pleasure!

*   *   *   *   *   *

She walked up to him and, watching the emotions crossing his face, took his manhood in her hand, feeling its pliant warmth, and laughed mockingly as it started to harden in her grip.  She played with him for a few moments more, bringing him fully erect, passion and need burning in his eyes, then she leant forward, her mouth close to his, almost kissing him, her scented breath warm on his lips.

“Just like a man,” she sneered, her grip dropping to squeeze his tightened scrotum hard, then rake along it with her long, sharp, painted nails.

*   *   *   *   *   *

OK, any guys reading this - you can stop squirming now! :)

Don't forget to check out the rest of the Horny Hump Day postings, and come on back next week for a whole lot more hot, three-sentence sexiness!

Horny Hump Day - February 22, 2012

My little snippet last week sparked quite a bit of interest, especially in my close friend Kelly - and she is both very thrilled, and very turned on by the feedback! So here's three sentences from one of her earlier adventures - What Renzo Sees - as posted on the Every Night Erotica website.

*   *   *   *   *   *   *

I stretch my long, slender arms languorously over my head, lifting up my small, pert breasts and tightening the muscles of my abdomen, aware that, through one tiny knothole in the otherwise unbreached fence, and through the one small gap between the Emerald Cedar trees that provide us with dense cover, Renzo, our small, elderly, Italian neighbour, is squinting against the brilliant rays of the Sun, his beady eye a dark spot in the pale wooden wall that shrouds us. He is unaware that we know he watches us through his secret little hole, or that, from time to time, the sultry Summer air carries the grunts of his heavy breathing across the lawn and into our secluded nest, but the knowledge of his stolen glances adds an air of rebellious naughtiness to our activities, daring us to act out scenes for his secret pleasure.

With a quick, deft movement, I remove the small, pink bikini top, letting the hot Summer breeze wash over my waiting nipples, that harden and rise at the wind’s caress, rippling down through the undulating fine pale hair of my flat, muscular abs.

If you like that, you can read more snippets at the Horny Hump Day website, and more of Kelly's adventures at What Renzo Sees Next and What Renzo Didn't See. Don't forget to rate my stories, and please leave a comment or two, because I love feedback!

And - if you feel like writing your own erotic masterpieces, Every Night Erotica is always looking for new authors who would like to have their shorts showcased. A new, 2000 words or less, story is posted every night!

Horny Hump Day - Feb 15, 2012

So, the day after St. Valentine's Day, here's three sentences from a real-life experience!

* * * * * *

As Kelly carefully worked her way through the knees to the empty seat, the train suddenly lurched, and the only way she could prevent herself from falling over resulted in her hand grasping the impressive bulge in the crotch of the surprised guy she had been squeezing past! Instinctively, her fingers lingered longer than was really necessary, savouring the sensation, arousing her inner warmth. Slowly she sat down in the empty seat, removed her shoe, and pressed her foot gently but firmly against the warm hardness of his obvious desire!

Horny Hump Day - Feb 2012

Here's a little three sentence snippet from my story That's What Sisters Are For!, which is a sequence from my novel Parallel Lives.

*    *    *    *    *    *

“Look at that,” she sighed, “so fuckin’ purple and hot!”  I faked a moan, and squirmed a little on the bed, taking the opportunity to pump my prick a little harder, inflating the head even bigger.  Julie’s hand maintained its grip, her thin fingers long and strong, and all three women “Mmm’d” as I gyrated before their eyes.

SEX and TAROT!!!

Mmmm! Did I get your attention?

My two favourite subjects! And what would be more pleasurable that being able to combine the two of them in one blog posting?

Well - that's exactly what a Yule gift from my SO enables me to do! That delicious minx bought me The Decameron Tarot, and - Oh My! It's a delight to behold! (And to hold, too! ;-o)

The Decameron is a 14th century Italian book of 100 stories, collected and published by Giovanni Boccaccio.  While the main intent of the stories is to discredit the very corrupt Roman Catholic church, the collection contains a large number of baudy tales that makes the book a favourite source for modern eroticists and writers of all genres. The work is often cited as an excellent expose of life in Italy during the 14th century.

Using a writing  device similar to that of the Arabian Nights, the 100 stories were told over a period of 14 days by ten young people who had fled from plague-ridden Florence to an empty villa in Fiesole.  There, in order to pass the time, each person tells a tale on a specified subject, on ten days during the 2-week sojourn. Boccaccio also ties the work back to the Arthurian legend around the affair between Lancelot and Guinevere.  Prince Galehaut - the  alternative title that Boccaccio had for the book - was one of the evil opponents of King Arthur. He arranged the tryst between Lancelot and Guinevere that lead to their first kiss and subsequent affair.

Taking the book as a basis for her imagery, Giacinto Gaudenzi has produced a collection of voluptuous, erotic imagery, loosely tied - I have to say - to the the meanings and symbology of Tarot - to illustrate her cards. Her and Luciano Spadanuda, an erotica devotee, have developed their own interpretations of the cards to tie in with the imagery, and the result is a wonderful romp through scene after scene of characters indulging in the finer arts of passion and lust!  While some conotations to Tarot symbology are kept, in the main the imagery represents the characters and plots in Boccaccio's stories, many in the most salubrious and compromising positions!  It has to be said that a lot of the images are not very flattering to the human form, tending to show folk far from the perfect physique - but that makes them all the more human!

Two of the Aces - Swords and Wands - are very appealing to me in their imagery.  The Ace of Wands shows a very curvacious beauty caressing a phenomenal Wand, formed from a long trunk of a phallus-shaped tree!  This is a direct homage to Sexuality in its purest form, with the underlying message that size really does matter - the bigger the better!  And she has such a beautiful posterior, too!

The Ace of Swords shows what appears to be the same voluptuous woman, this time lying on a bed a dn looking rather alarmed as the giant sword pierces the sheet between her legs.  Her exposed vulva is red, as if from over-use. The symbology of this card ties very closely to that of the Fenestra 10 of Swords - my avatar and the background to this blog.  The beauty of the woman is counterpoised by the threat inherent in the positioning of the sword, and the sword itself symbolizes a male dominance that may not always be welcome, but which speaks of both power and passion.

The Queen and King of Cups are also two very interesting cards.  The former shows the two protagonists in classic 69 pose, the Queen holding onto the King's nicely-sized erection, while he strains his tongue upward, seeking her awaiting yoni.  She is leering back toward the King's head, her tongue licking her lips, while a chalice of red wine balances precariously on her raised rump, sloshing its contents overboard.  This is a card of frolicsome fun, and the couple seem to be enjoying themselves very much!

The card of the King of Cups is a continuation of the scene in the Queen card, but now the couple are in a more normal, almost "missionary" position, with the King standing as he impales the Queen.  The Queen, however, does not seem to be enjoying herself as much as she could be, because that naughty King, in his passion, is squeezing her breasts quite fiercely - an action she is obviously not enjoying as much as he might have expected!  He needs to learn women's breasts are not meant for that kind of treatment, if he intends to keep enjoying his conubial activities!

As usual, I always like to study the Star card in all of my Tarot decks.  The one in the Decameron Tarot is a very mischievious version which tickles my imagination so sweetly.  Here we see the woman who is the Star, with her Seven Sisters still in tow, perched in a tree, while the object of her naughtiness lies fatigued on the ground below.  The root of the wicked grin on the face of the Star is derived from the fact she is urinating into the mug of the poor unfortunate lying prone beneath her.  Who knows what his experience will be when he eventually sups from his adulterated drink - for all we know, her urine might be the Nectar of the Gods - but somehow the grin on her face tells me that, just perhaps, it isn't!

Other cards worth honourable mentions are Justice (my SO says that it's me posing again!), The Wheel of Fortune - a theme which is rampant throughout the Decameron itself - and the grotesque High Priestess, with her phallus necklace and painted nails, although there are many beautiful scenes in this prime example of Tarotica!

Tarot and Sex! So delicious on their own - and doubly so together!

I'M BACK!!!!!

Did you all miss me?
I hope so! :-)  (Blushes!)

WOW!
It's been so long.
I had so many plans for the last 3 months of 2011, and then the losses hit in - and I am so glad that we are now in 2012! I cannot say the last few months have been a very pleasant experience - even with Yule festivities thrown in!

So much went by the wayside during that time  - so many plans and projects that have been delayed! SAD! SAD!  SAD!

But - not being one to dwell much on spilt milk, it's time to get back on track, and to get back to entertaining you all - because that's what I love to do!

So - on with the stories and the tales of Tarot! Back to the lust and the passion, fire and the horror!

As my old friend Pinhead said - "We have such sights to show you!"

Oh - and by the way - did I mention - I'm back!
Let's scream - in orgasm or horror - or BOTH!

Fire and Passion! Six Sentence Sunday...

Here's a little offering from my short story The Great Rite of the Golden Coven. This is a tale about an ancient grimoire written by a very old Celtic god, and it's affect on a coven of Romany Chohawnis (witches) who obtain its possession for the Long Night (Yule) sabbat.

*   *   *   *   *

“Come, Gueri Chohawni!”  the voice called me again and, reluctantly, I stepped towards the fire.  The heat grew, and I almost stepped back, but, gathering my courage, and feeding off the growing passion in my womb, I stepped closer and closer to the flames.  My legs trembled as I approached the edge, and I stopped and looked up into the centre of the fire.  There, at the heart of the flames, glistening and radiant, right in the middle of the stone slab, a large golden phallus, identical in design to those that capped the rods of the scroll, stood beckoning to my desire.  The vision filled my eyes and inflamed my heart and yoni with a wanton, aching lust!

I swallowed hard, and stepped forward again.

Looks like someone is heading for a LOT of fun!

Fragment

I love the moonlight glistening on your body’s shimmering glow,
Watching waves of pleasure ripple upwards from below.
Tongue-deep in that muskiness that drives the mind insane,
Listening to your growing moans – “Again!  Again!  Again!”

A Pleiades of Tarot

I humbly dedicate this entry to one of the brightest and most inspiring stars in my Twitterverse, @RemittanceGirl

*   *   *   *   *

Orion
As the heat of Summer starts to wane, and the seamless tan begins to fade back to paleness, the nights continue to lengthen, and the constellations of Winter start to slowly appear in the eternal blackness of Night. Chief among these, and certainly the most recognizable, is the impressive and mighty Orion, with his tell-tale belt and sword, and the ponderous red giant, Betelguese. Trailing behind the great hunter are his dogs, the Canis constellations, lead by the brightest star in our night skies, Sirius.

However, more important to us devotees of Tarot is the constellation that precedes Orion, the Zodiac constellation of Taurus the Bull. Hidden within this beast, just above his left shoulder, is the marvellous open cluster of The Pleiades, or The Seven Sisters. This group of stars is deeply associated with the Major Arcana card of The Star, and is frequently included in the imagery of the card.

Fenestra Star

The sisters that make up the seven are the daughters of the Titan Atlas, who holds the World up on his shoulders, and Pleione, and are the virgin consorts of the god Artemis.  They are, from brightest to dullest, Alcyone, Electra, Maia, Merope, Teygeta, Celano and Sterope. They ended up in the heavens as a way of protecting them forever from the unwanted advances of Orion, who still chases after them.  Now, Aldebaran, The Follower, runs behind them, as they cry across the sky.

In Tarot, The Star is most often represented as a beautiful naked woman, standing or kneeling at the edge of a pond or river, with one foot or her knee on the land, and the other in the water.  In each hand she holds a pitcher or chalice of water, the contents of which she pours onto the land and into the stream.  Above her head shine, not seven, but eight stars - the Seven Sisters, and her own, super-bright star.

Rider-Waite Star
The Star is the great card of Hope, signifying success and achievement in our future. Whether the reading revolves around relationships and love, or business and material possessions, The Star indicates that all desires can and will be satisfied, and, when coupled with a positive card such as the 10 of Cups, promises a host of bright and happy possibilities.  One deck I have - the Mythic Tarot - even identifies the naked woman on The Star card as Pandora, kneeling before the fabled box as the Evils stream out into an unsuspecting World, while the glowing Star that remains with her is Hope.

The waters that flow from the pitchers or cups of The Star represent the Water of Life.  That flowing onto the dry land provides nourishment to the plants and animals that dwell there, while the water flowing into the river indicates the completion of the cycle that draws moisture up from the lakes and oceans, into the skies to form clouds that will, eventually, feed the rains that fall.

Egyptian Star

So now we have an understanding of how one card that appears to be so simple in its imagery actually ties together many aspects of science, philosophy and mythology.  The Star represents one of the keenest integrations in Tarot of these major aspects of our human existence, and, as such, is always one of the most interesting designs in any Tarot deck.  Maybe that is why I always seem to have a soft spot for this most interesting of cards in the decks I collect.  Next time you pull out your Tarot cards, spend a few minutes looking over The Star, so you can learn how the artistry in your card ties together these themes, and brings to your readings the beauty and hope we are all looking for!

Let's keep gazin' up at the beauty of The Stars, both in the sky and in our cards!

Love,
Ashen xxx

Revisiting Nancy Friday...

A few weeks ago I was rummaging through the hoards of dealers at the Aberfoyle Antiques Market near Guelph, Ontario, when, hidden away at the top of a crumbling pile of old books, I found an early edition of My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday.  Nancy was pretty much the first writer to expose women as the sexual beings they really are, and at a time when, even though Women's Lib was the in-thing, the acceptance of female sexuality beyond that of being a satisfier of the needs of men was still some time in the future.

In her introduction to My Secret Garden, Nancy explains that a novel she had been working on for some years, and which included some female erotic scenes, had received so much negative commentary from her publisher that she felt compelled to "shelve" the project, and concentrate on other work. That "other work" eventually evolved into My Secret Garden, a collection of women's erotic fantasies Nancy gathered together, originally from her close circle of family and friends, but then from the large numbers of letters she received in reply to her advertisement:

FEMALE SEXUAL FANTASIES
wanted by serious female researcher.
Anonymity guaranteed. Box XYZ...

The resulting avalanche of stories that Nancy received in her mail covered an incredible range of sexual activities, including many aspects of behaviour that even today's modern eroticists tend to steer clear of. Detailed fantasies of incest, rape, bestiality and pedophilia are presented alongside those of less nefarious acts, including inter-racial sex, lesbianism, domination, group sex - in fact, just about every sexual practice we eroticists love to write about is covered somewhere in this book!

But this book is more than just a collection of salubrious scenes presented without rhyme or reason! Far from it! Nancy arranges these confessions of feminine fantasy into a number of groups, dividing them along threads of justification, then activity, then a grouping detailing the origins of the fantasies discussed. There's a section on women's guilt at having their fantasies, and a short section on the anxiety of men knowing such fantasies exist. The penultimate chapter discusses various outcomes when fantasies are accepted by the parties, and the book closes with a chapter of "Quickies".

In presenting these scenes, Nancy keeps to the graphic language that the submissions use, which, for that time, was bound to be highly controversial.  Such language and scenery was usually found in the pages of mens pornographic magazines and, occassionally, in newer, cult novels of the era, but most certainly not in a serious deposition on sexual mores. However, the unbridled success of the book laid the foundation for many more sexually explicit publications, and especially paved the way for the incredible growth of female erotica authors who now knew that they were neither alone nor abnormal to have the fantasies they had, and to write them down for presentation to the field of avid readers who were waiting for them. Erotica was no longer the exclusive domain of the male, and we women owe a great debt to Nancy and her peers for breaking those rules and the iron grip the publishing industry had on who was allowed to write and publish erotica.

Nancy has continued to write on the same subject matter for almost the last 40 years, and has a number of works to her credit.  She followed up My Secret Garden with Forbidden Flowers, a further study in women's sexual fantasies. Another work, My Mother, My Self, investigates the complex relationship between mothers and daughters, and how this drives the patterns of future relationships throughout the daughter's life. Most recently, in 2009, she published Beyond My Control - Forbidden Fantasies in an Uncensored Age, that investigates the effects that the unbound female sexuality have had on erotica and erotic fantasies since the publication of My Secret Garden.

For any would-be eroticist, My Secret Garden and its sequels are required reading, as they place female-focussed erotica right alongside the more pornographic style of erotic tales more generally enjoyed by the male section of our audience, and ensures that we all understand that women deserve to have that kind of literature available to them just as much as men deserve theirs.

Let's keep having fun out there!
